The CELL-DYN 4000, a new 25 parameter, high volume analyzer produces 110 CBCs
per hour on less than 120 µL of sample. This state-of-the-art, Pentium-driven system has
extensive on-board system monitoring and streamlined data review.
The CELL-DYN 4000 is the first automated hematology system to use the power of
three independent measurement technologies on a single platform. Fluorescent detection
allows for fully automated, random access reticulocyte testing on any routine CBC without
operator invention. It also provides for direct enumeration of platelet analysis in cases
of thrombocytopenia, enabling the laboratory to report their precise concentration in the
peripheral blood.
The CELL-DYN 4000 is the only system available that combines two-dimensional
optical platelet analysis. Focused-flow impedance and multi-dimensional optical light
scatter measurements integrated with the first routine application of fluorescent
detection enables automated measurements of new parameters and improves the resolution for
conventional hematology parameters. |
