The key to the Precision·G performance is the Microflo Plus test strip design, which draws in and contains the sample, eliminating test strip sensitivity to touch and instrument sensitivity to movement. This innovative test strip design extends the system's hematocrit and humidity ranges, and automatically compensates for the presence of substances that commonly interfere with instrument accuracy. The Microflo Plus test strip is designed to automatically start when the sample is detected producing a result 20 seconds later.

The Precision·G System includes built-in data management, an on-board printer, capability of uploading to an external PC or LIS and many system security options.
