Aloka DCS-600EX is a forearm bone densitometer utilizing the most
advanced Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) technology for easy and accurate bone
mineral measurement of the forearm. |
The DCS-600EX scans the forearm, simply placed on the scanning table without any tissue
equivalent material, by the dual-energy X-ray beam that can measure the bone mineral
content compensating for the soft tissue absorption, and displays the bone image on the
monitor screen.
The bone mineral content and density can be measured, simply specifying the region of
interest on the image, accurately with high reproducibility.
The DCS-600EX can also perform the conventional profile scan to measure the bone mineral
density at the specific sites of the forearm without any tissue equivalent material.
