LOGIQ® 700 MR
DIGITALLY ENCODED ULTRASOUND SYSTEM
|
| |
Beyond the Digital Beamformer to the Digital Ultrasound Beam.
Ultrasound imaging
takes an unprecedented leap forward with the LOGIQ 700 MR Digitally Encoded Ultrasound
System.
This stunning technological breakthrough extends digital ultrasound technology beyond
the beamformer to a revolutionary new digital beam.
The LOGIQ 700 MR with Digitally Encoded Ultrasound maximizes resolution and penetration
simultaneously, so you can image deeper and clearer than ever before, even on technically
difficult patients. |

|
Coded Excitation provides 7 MHz resolution
with penetration beyond 18 cm depth, to deliver ultrasound performance unlike anything
you've ever seen.
Automatic Tissue Optimization automatically adjusts the imaging
parameters to display the optimal image quality for the tissue type being imaged - for
every patient, every exam and every operator.
Advanced 3DView II
Imaging provides quick access to image slices from any plane, which are
unobtainable with conventional B-mode ultrasound. The LOGIQ 700 MR Digitally Encoded
Ultrasound System continues GE's commitment to bringing you industry-leading breakthroughs
in ultrasound imaging.

|
Previous years' breakthroughs
produced levels of ultrasound performance that still lead the ultrasound industry. They
include:
Voxel Image Processing (VIP) using
1024-acquisition-channels, a fundamental breakthrough in ultrasound beamforming
technology, provides volumetric acquisition processing, and display of ultrasound
information from all three dimensions. This creates a significant image quality
improvement over traditional pixel based, 2-dimensionally controlled image capture and
processing.
Active Matrix Arrays (AMA) redefine
transducer technology with MicroSlice beam control. AMAs, combined with Maximum
Resolution Ultrasound, provide astonishing spatial resolution down to 300 microns -
about the thickness of a human hair.
Maximum Resolution Flow brings the
benefits of Maximum Resolution Ultrasound, with Voxel Image Processing to color flow
and Power Doppler imaging, giving you a smoother, more realistic representation of flow.
In some cases, you'll see flow in structures where you've never seen flow before.
Maximum Resolution (MR) Ultrasound
pushes gray scale performance to new heights:
- Micron Imaging: pixel sizes close to CT and MR levels,
- Wide Aperture Imaging: far-field resolution that looks like near-field resolution,
- Wide Dynamic Range: gray scale resolution more than 10-times better than typical
ultrasound systems.
Adaptive Color Enhancement (ACE) takes
color flow to new heights by doubling sensitivity and frame rate while dramatically
reducing color motion artifacts.

Enhanced productivity.
Features designed by users for users, the LOGIQ 700 MR takes ease of use to a new level. The Platform for the Future.
Unsurpassed support. Including the
InSite on-line applications and service network and GE's Training-in-Partnership
(TiP) programs for ultrasound education.
