Compax I and I/T

Compact and easily installed

With their small footprints, Compax I and I/T systems are the logical choice whenever space is at a premium - especially when they're configured with undertable generators.

And because they're factory assembled and require no wall or ceiling modifications, they can be installed quickly and easily, for a prompt return on your investment.

Fast exam setup patient positioning

Positioning patients on the floating Compax table requires very little effort on the part of your staff.

That's partly because it's available in two different heights to facilitate transfers of patients from stretcher to table; partly because a foot pedal controls the release of the table's longitudinal and lateral lock, leaving the user's hands free for other tasks.

The tabletop itself is comfortably wide. This not only gives your patients a sense of security, but also makes it easy to position them to meet your diagnostic needs - including lateral or decubitus exposures.

The Compax tube can be positioned with one hand, manually or with the help of motorized controls. Either way, an alignment bar - a parallax option with the Compax I - links tube to bucky to help ensure optimum alignment at all angles.

Exceptional Versatility

versatility Compax tabletops and bucky systems equip you with wide longitudinal and vertical travel range, allowing your staff to complete head-to-toe examinations of even large patients without the need for repositioning.

In addition, the tube-stand column permits full, 180/180-degree pivotal rotation. This feature combines with flexible tube angulation and generous travel range to provide truly extraordinary clinical flexibility.

What's more, whether the patient is lying on the table or a stretcher, or sitting in an upright position, exposures can be captured at various source-to-image distances (SIDs), allowing optimum magnification even with automatic collimation.

Added Advantage of Tomography tomography

With the Compax I/T, switching from radiography to tomography is as easy as moving the integrated handle; light indicators confirm that tomography is ready to begin.

The operator then enters the desired tomographic parameters on the system's retractable control panel, without leaving the patient's side. To help enable precise capture of the anatomy of interest, cut-level can be selected in continuous mode; the system automatically sets the appropriate focal distance and exposure duration for the selected sweep angle and speed, and provides a digital read-out of height throughout the exam.

To further simplify setup and help ensure consistent application of radiographic parameters, the system can be configured with a generator that memorizes the most recent parameters. And to help ensure optimum results, Automatic Exposure Control can be applied to automatically optimize dose throughout the tomographic sweep.
