A system that handles it all The Legacy/Legacy-D easily accommodates everything from classical R&F exams to angiographic and interventional procedures. Excellent imaging, study after study The Legacy/Legacy-D provides a high quality imaging chain, including automatic exposure, gain and brightness control for excellent penetration over the full range of patients, as well as patented EDR 11 (Extended Dynamic Range) circuitry to minimize blooming.

An Improvement of Geometric Proportions Today, many radiologists are leaving the spotfilm device idle, using digital acquisition and processing to realize the technology's image-quality and productivity potential. To help you take full advantage of that potential, GE has done far more than simply remove the spotfilm device. In fact, we optimized our high-performance Legacy system to create the all-digital Legacy-D. The geometry of the Legacy-D provides even greater benefits for you and your patients including the following results: Increased coverage Significant dose reduction Expanding your capabilities The Legacy/Legacy-D increases the area of anatomical coverage by up to 20% with the 40-cm image intensifier, making a wide range of studies clinically practical - including peripheral run-offs and full carotid/arch exams, with everything from the arch to the siphons captured in a single view. Reducing dose Other Legacy/Legacy-D dose-conserving features include: SmartFluoro™, Last Image Hold, and Virtual collimation.

Powerful Capabilities to Speed You Through Your Day The Advantx Legacy/Legacy-D is designed to let your staff concentrate on the patient rather than the equipment. To save steps, it brings key Advantx generator functions to the tableside via its intelligent user interface, providing intuitive, single-handed control over the most frequently used system functions including: collimator, table angulation, fluoroscopy and tabletop movement, SmartFluoro™ and variable Record Frame Rate. To further streamline operation, its interface displays only the currently relevant information on its two electro-luminescent displays, eliminating superfluous data that can slow you down.

SFD (Spotfilm Device) on Advantx Legacy: An Intelligent SFD is also available on the Advantx Legacy system. The SFD supports a wide range of cassettes from 18 x 24 cm to 35 x 35 cm (8 x 10 inch to 14 x 14 inch) and incorporates an anti-jam cassette carriage designed for single hand operation. The two electro-luminescent displays present only SFD relevant information when SFD mode is selected. Information displayed include: cassette format selections, Technique Adjustments, Auto Protocol, Auto Grid, Frame Rate, and Virtual Collimation.
