Superior Image Quality
High quality components have been selected to ensure the high performance Stenoscop
image chain:
- An x-ray tube which improves image quality by reducing extra focal-radiation
- Latest generation image intensifier
- High technology CCD camera for distortion free images
- Large 20 inch (51 cm), rotating & flicker-free TV monitors

Dose Reduction
The Stenoscop has been designed with dose reduction in mind:
- Tube design reduces off-focal radiation
- Two levels of Fluoro operate at 5 R/mn and 10 R/mn
- Pulsed Fluoro mode will reduce dose further
- Manual mode for fluoro allows user to adjust kV and mA parameters independently to
minimum level for special cases (pregnancy, pediatrics...)
- Collimation will reduce unnecessary radiation
- Dose measurement option will help keep track of skin dose received
