Inturis™ for Radiology, from Philips Medical Systems, is an integrated information
management program for radiology departments. It provides a comprehensive solution,
available today and prepared for the future. Inturis provides:
- Networking of radiology modalities with each other for faster access to images, and
improved clinical processes.
- Integrated workstations that support both viewing and reporting requirements.
- Integration of the modalities with the RIS, for scheduled image distribution throughout
the hospital, and improved efficiency in patient scheduling, exam set-up, and the eventual
availability of diagnostic reports.
- A complete range of products and services to plan, implement, and install a digital
communication infrastructure.
Inturis will also provide efficient exchange of information with the hospital
information system, to improve efficiencies in hospital-wide clinical and administrative
processes.
Inturis for Radiology is based on Philips' leadership in digital imaging and our
experience installing more than 150 RIS systems in Europe, more than 3000 integrated
modality clusters, and more than 25 full-scale PACS around the world.
