| Philips has further improved the successful SDR 3250 by
upgrading to the latest in ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) technology and
by incorporating the latest imaging software developments. A noteworthy development is the
introduction of FLP (Fine Line Processing) that gives four times the normal line density
for a smooth, high resolution image to take full advantage of the large monitor of the SD
250.
Computer compatibility
Increasingly, users are turning to digital storage of images and data. The SD 250,
therefore, has a built-in diskette drive for storing user settings and images in normal PC
format. In addition to the diskette, a computer can be connected using the standard RS-232
port, and Open Data Transfer accessory.
Unparalleled versatility
The SD 250 is a system of unparalleled versatility not only in the range of Sector,
Linear and Curved Array Probes, but also in its ability to be pre-programmed for three
probe connectors for up to five separate users. Simplicity is maintained however, by using
a software with interactive, easily understood menus, which reduce otherwise complex
operations to one or two simple keystrokes.
Complete software
Every SD 250 comes fully loaded with measurement and calculation packages which
include: Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urology, Cardiology. There is also software for thyroid
and infant hip. Measurements and calculated results are displayed as report pages on the
monitor, may be printed and are also available for computer analysis. |
