| The Diagnost 97 is a top-class remote-controlled RF system, with full
90/90° table tilt, as well as provision for a range of additional applications such as
digital tomography, peripheral angiography and both vascular and non-vascular
interventional procedures. Its multifunctionality makes the Diagnost 97 the ideal back-up
facility for specialized installations. The complete imaging assembly is mounted on a
travelling column, providing a total coverage of almost 200 cm without moving the patient.
The column can also be angled up to 40° in the cranio-caudal and caudo-cranial
directions. The travelling column results in an extremely compact system that can be
installed in even the smallest X-ray room. |

A large 38 cm image intensifier and a full-specification
serial changer offer a free choice of Digital Spot Imaging (DSI), digital fluoroscopy and
film/screen radiography. A motorized image intensifier lift brings the input screen of the
image intensifier exactly into the film plane, ensuring identical image geometry in both
digital and film-based techniques. An advanced User Interface presents all the
parameters needed for each application, as well as full remote control of all table
movements and compression. Only the required parameters are presented, while irrelevant
information is suppressed, providing the ideal balance between full automation and free
setting.
Table movements are duplicated on a separate control panel, which can be mounted at the
tableside or on a mobile pedestal, putting full multifunctionality at your fingertips,
wherever you choose to work.
The Diagnost 97 is designed for use with the EasyVision workstation, providing
centralized viewing, storage and printout of images from several examination rooms, as
well as interfacing to hard copy units or hospital networking systems.
