The Multi Diagnost is well suited for routine RF
examinations, vascular diagnostic procedures, and vascular and non-vascular interventional
procedures. A wide range of beam projections and patient positions allows applicational
flexiblity, while the C-arm design enables easy access to the patient, even for the most
complex interventions. A pre-programmed access position, with lower table height, makes it
especially easy for elderly patients, or the wheelchair bound, to get onto the table. Power to satisfy the most demanding requirements
The flexibility of the Multi Diagnost is backed by performance. Operation is easy, thanks
to ergonomic controls and display screens that show only the information that's needed at
the time. Grid Controlled Fluoroscopy and dynamic fluoro grab assure high quality images
at lowest effective dose - an important consideration during long interventional
procedures. The C-arm's rotation, angulation and scanning movements allow projections from
almost any angle with full body coverage. What's more, all images can be obtained without
the patient having to move.
As a digital system, the MD is DICOM compliant, to enable a wide range of communication
capabilities with DICOM compliant hospital networks or viewing stations inside or outside
the hospital, including the RIS or HIS. An EasyVision workstation or an EasyAccess Image
Management System can add extra functionality. The MD is part of InturisTM for Radiology,
Philips' modular approach to workflow improvement and building a digital infrastructure.
The right approach with 'left' Multi Diagnost L
Full patient access and a spacious working area are keywords for the Multi Diagnost. The
MD is also available with left table suspension, to provide the medical staff with much
more freedom in their working positions and therefore operating convenience in ERCP
procedures. This left version permits the combination of the ideal patient position for
endoscopy, full patient access and easy use of X-ray and other medical equipment during an
ERCP.
The Multi Diagnost L is the system of choice in hospitals where such studies are
regularly performed, without compromising routine or special procedures. And in femoral
catheterization procedures, the Multi Diagnost L provides improved patient access on the
right side of the tabletop. |
