Litho Diagnost ME
It was our aim to design a system which meets not only medical requirements but also limited budgets. What is more, the system had to be flexible, fit into confined space, and be adaptable to various treatment situations - without making any compromises in quality or functionality.

Litho Diagnost ME
With the Litho Diagnost ME we have combined proven components to create an economical system which offers ideal conditions for performing therapy on renal and ureteral stones. The newly developed coupling mechanism between the shock-wave source and the C-arm image intensifier X-ray unit guarantees maximum accuracy in positioning for four different projections. With its multi-functional approach, the Litho Diagnost ME can be used for endo-urological examinations and treatments as well. Additionally, all individual components can be used separately.

The shock-wave source
This is the centerpiece of the Litho Diagnost ME and it is based on the proven electrode principle, seen as 'golden standard' in lithotripsy. High energy density ensures trouble-free desintegration of stones and a low repetition rate.

The C-arm image intensifier
The image intensifier, which is equipped with state-of-the-art CCD imaging, is indispensable for accurate localization in diagnosis and therapy. It can be swivelled orbitally and angularly to accurately position renal or ureteral stones. The existing BV 25 image intensifiers can be used. The mobile patient table
This is a special development for the Litho Diagnost ME. Its motorised table top can be moved in all directions by remote control. For other applications the table can be expanded into a simple endo-urological unit. The Litho Diagnost ME system comprises table, shock-wave source and image intensifier. This combination ensures highest applicational functionality and it meets different budgetory requirements.
