AccuSketch® STN Quantitative Vessel Analysis System General Information

Quantitative vessel analysis with densitometric and geometric measurements.

By providing you with a choice of measurement methods, AccuSketch STN delivers the flexibility needed to easily and accurately measure difficult vessels.

Fast, efficient densitometric evaluation.

AccuSketch uses a proven, validated algorithm for vessel edge detection and offers a choice of computer-selected diameter or vessel markers which the user can adjust.

Simply select the Segment Icon from the toolbar, then set the endpoints to define the length of the occlusion. Unlike other densitometric analysis systems, AccuSketch excludes areas of density not specific to the stenosis-thus enhancing analysis speed and accuracy.

Quick, comprehensive geometric measurement.

To quickly compare an occluded segment of a vessel with a "reference" or normal vessel, simply select the vessel "slice" of interest. By averaging a two-pixel-wide line across the "slice" and offering user-movable vessel edge markers, AccuSketch calculates both the geometric diameter and circular area of the marked vessel. The densitometric area and measured diameter for the segment can be automatically compared on the report.

For the best-possible geometric analysis, AccuSketch offers the capability to simultaneously compare and average orthogonal views of the same vessel. With these views of the stenotic lesion, AccuSketch also offers an integrated value for size and percent occlusion.

Reports to meet the need.

Formatted reports include Pre- and Post-PTCA and Vessel Analysis using single or combined orthogonal views. Every report includes percent area occlusion, percent diameter reduction, and sizes of normal and stenotic vessels (in millimeters).

Every report also includes images of the area calculated or marked.

Easy data transfer for increased flexibility.

Designed for use with Windows® 95 or Windows NT®, AccuSketch makes data transfer quick and easy. Simply use the Windows "Clipboard" to transfer patient data at the touch of a button, whether it's between individual analyses, separate AccuSketch modules or other Windows-interfaced programs. For added flexibility, you can also transfer patient and calculated data using delimited ASCII files.

Marquette cost-effectively meets all your QCA needs.

AccuSketch STN is part of a complete Marquette family of easy to use QCA tools. Modular in nature, this offering allows you to select only the tools you need.

This cost-effective approach makes it easy to get started, while Marquette design makes it easy to upgrade as needed. You can even start with a standalone PC and integrate with other systems over time ... including Mac-Lab® Catheterization Recording System, AccuVision® Digital Cine Acquisition, Storage and Image Distribution System and the MUSE CV® Information System. Plus, it's High-Line-Imaging configurable for use with most types of medical video.

Convenient, efficient, flexible and cost-effective ... AccuSketch STN.
