Aqua-KnotŪ II Water Trap General Information

The Aqua-Knot II water trap system has been designed to provide protection from
entrainment of water and other contaminents into Marquette’s respired gas monitoring
systems. As the respired gas sample is drawn into the Aqua-Knot II water trap, moisture is
wicked safely away from the gas sample stream.
The Aqua-Knot II device traps approximately 7 cc of water and automatically shuts off
when full. Luer-lok connections make replacement easy while ensuring a leak-free sample
for analysis. The Aqua-Knot II water trapping system requires no special tools, special
vacuum or other connections. The minimum dead space of the Aqua-Knot II reduces distortion
of the CO2 waveform.
