Advantage/TramscopeŽ Interface Module General Information

Marquette's Advantage multiplexed mass spectrometer system and the Tramscope 12 patient monitor have been interfaced, creating an advancement in systems integration. This interface creates a pathway for mass spectrometer measured inspired and expired O2, N2, N2O, Halothane, Enflurane, Desflurane and Isoflurane measurements to be displayed on the Tramscope 12 or Tramscope 12C monitor. This interface module also includes a CO2 analyzer which provides a continuous display of the capnogram, breath-by-breath inspired and expired CO2 measurement and respiratory rate.

Patient vital signs and mass spectrometer data are stored and trended by the Tramscope monitor, and may be printed for case documentation, or transmitted to the Centralscope 12 central station for remote observation. An added benefit is that this interface is a focal point for mass spectrometer and vital signs data, eliminating the need for the Advantage MGApc display monitor, helping you to organize your workstation.

The Advantage/Tramscope interface module will communicate with any Advantage/Lifewatch Plus System, new or old, and may be used in any combination with the Advantage MGApc or PDU monitors. The Advantage data, combined with Tramscope data such as multilead ECG with ST segment analysis, cardiac calculations and automatic PA Wedge measurements, provide a powerful, patient monitoring system.
