Noninvasive Blood Presure Module General Information
The Noninvasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) module measures blood pressure oscillometrically in
three ways:
- manual - measurements made on demand,
- automatic - measurements made at predetermined intervals from 1 minute to 8 hours and
- stat - measurements continually repeated for 5 minutes.
The NIBP module can monitor neonatal and pediatric patients as well as adults. Advances
in design and a full array of reusable and disposable blood pressure cuffs equip the
system to fit into any clinical application.
Systolic, diastolic and mean pressure alarm limits are displayed on the Tramscope 12
monitor in which the module is used. Both visual and audible alarms may be set for these
parameters. All information may be displayed at the Centralscope 12 central station or on
another monitor in the system. The monitor also trends NIBP information graphically and in
a tabular history for easy review. |
