QT Guard Analysis System General Information
|
A sophisticated analysis system for performing QT measurements
The QT Guard analysis system performs sophisticated QT associated measurements on
12-lead ECG. QT Guard can analyze and display any 12-lead ECG initially acquired and
analyzed by the Marquette 12SLTM ECG Analysis Program.
QT dispersion calculated from the 12-lead ECG is defined as the maximum QRS onset to T
end interval measured in any lead minus the minimum QRS onset to T end interval measured
in any lead. QRS onset to T peak dispersion is also determined in a similar manner using
the peak of the T wave rather than the end of the T wave.
By leveraging and building on state of the art ECG analysis and display techniques
already employed by other Marquette ECG analysis programs, the QT Guard analysis system is
setting the standard for rapid QT measurements that, unlike manually made measurements,
are both stable and more importantly reproducible.
The QT Guard analysis may be performed on single ECGs or on groups of hundreds or
thousands of ECGs quickly and efficiently. Post processing capabilities allow for
streamlined verification, modification and partitioning of the resulting measurements
which are ready for statistical program analysis.
QT Guard helps to minimize intra- and inter-observer variability of QT dispersion
measurements in the standard 12-lead ECG allowing for more consistent and meaningful use
of this information.
