Solar® Pulse Oximetry Module General Information

The Solar Pulse Oximetry module uses spectrophotometric analysis to determine the percent of oxygen saturation of hemoglobin in arterial blood. The module provides reliable monitoring of peripheral oxygen saturation and pulse rate for all patients-for neonates, pediatrics and adult patients-without the time, cost and risk normally associated with arterial blood analysis.
Compatible with both the Solar 7000 and 8000 monitors, the monitors display the plethysmographic waveform, oxygen saturation, peripheral pulse rate, signal strength and quality, trended information, self-test status, alarm settings and messages.
Marquette's Solar Pulse Oximetry module is extremely easy to use. It performs automatic self-check and calibration when inserted into a monitor.
