MRL Diagnostics' Bartonella indirect immunofluorescent assay (IFA) is intended as an aid in the clinical diagnosis of Bartonella infections. This product uses Vero cells which have been infected with either B. henselae or B. quintana as the individual substrates permitting the qualitative detection and semi-quantitation of human serum IgG antibodies to Bartonella.

Each kit contains ten 8-well slides with B. henselae and B. quintana infected Vero cells spotted separately on each well, positive and negative controls, FITC IgG conjugate and sample diluent.
