The PHYSIO-CONTROL® Battery Support System charges and
reconditions the company's FASTPAK® and Battery Pak batteries. The Battery Support System
will charge three FASTPAK batteries in less than 70 minutes. Indicator lights facilitate
monitoring of the charging cycle. An integral battery discharger permits reconditioning
and testing of batteries. After battery reconditioning and testing, battery capacity is
automatically displayed.The integral defibrillator test load allows standard paddle
defibrillation testing. Lighted energy display shows number of joules delivered into the
test load with each defibrillation.
The Auxiliary Power Supply may be used to power the LIFEPAK 10
defibrillator/monitor/pacemaker, LIFEPAK 11 diagnostic cardiac monitor, or LIFEPAK 11
defibrillator/pacmaker when the use of batteries is not desirable. The Auxiliary Power
Supply will charge batteries installed in the defibrillator/monitor; fully depleted
batteries are recharged in 19 hours. The Auxiliary Power Supply does not condition the
batteries.
