After a patient record has
been downloaded, the user may: add supplemental patient data, save to floppy or hard disk,
print reports, and modem or fax to central medical quality control site. Modem links to
both the QUIK-VIEW 500 program and CODE-STAT 2.0 system enable data from large numbers of
LIFEPAK 500 defibrillator sites to be efficiently consolidated for quality assurance and
system-wide statistical analysis. The QUIK-VIEW 500 data review program is a dream come true for medical control
personnel. Digital files from the LIFEPAK 500 defibrillator may be directly downloaded or
received via modem. The QUIK-VIEW 500 program provides a method for "re-creating" the incident
scene by allowing simultaneous playback of digitally recorded audio and continuous patient
ECG. Patient records, including a timeline which graphically displays significant events,
are easily navigated, speeding case review. Straightforward annotation makes customization
of patient reports and training scenarios simple. The patient list can be used as a
database and allows data to be "cut and pasted" into any spread-sheet for custom
analysis and report generation. The QUIK-VIEW 500 data review program allows for easy transfer to CODE-STAT 2.0 data
management system for integration with other LIFEPAK defibrillator/monitor data and
