The Physio-Control LIFEPAK AED Trainer is a low-cost training
device that provides an effective solution to AED training needs. It has the "look
and feel" of an automated external defibrillator - complete with voice and screen
prompts, realistic tones, lighted controls, and reusable training electrodes. All
scenarios are simulated - no energy is actually transferred, so training session safety is
maximized. The AED trainer is extremely easy to use and is compatible with any CPR
manikin. It can be configured for multiple AED protocols, making it an ideal training
device for generic AED training or for specific training on many of today's commercially
available AEDs. Utilize the built-in simulation for minimal instructor involvement, or
connect the optional switch for total instructor control over scenarios. The LIFEPAK AED
Trainer runs for approximately 100 hours on four standard D-size batteries.
