are a single source for a full range of clinically-efficient diagnostic and monitoring
equipment. Now you find Quinton products in use each step of the way, from initial
diagnosis through cardiac rehabilitation. Quinton products are designed to help our
customers quickly acquire the information they need to better manage patient care from
prevention through rehabilitation.
Resting ECG
Q710 ECG System
This versatile and affordable resting ECG cart can be configured to meet your specific
needs. It can be set on a counter top or mounted on a sturdy cart for easy mobility. An
optional flip-up LCD display allows you to preview trace quality before beginning a test,
ensuring greater report accuracy. There are also resting interpretation, fax/modem and
battery operation options. You can even combine resting ECG and stress testing in one
unit. Choose only the options you require. If you purchase resting ECG only, your Q710 can
be upgraded at a later date to do stress testing as well.
With the Q710, you can select 12-lead, timed, or rhythm reports - or touch a single
button to instantly print a stat report. Unlike ordinary systems that give you a 10-second
rhythm report, the Q710 enables you to print a one- to five-minute report from any
channel. ECG reports can also be generated via a button on the pre-amp module, eliminating
the hassle of running back and forth between patient and cart. You can automatically or
manually store up to 150 resting 12-lead reports and retrieve them quickly for editing,
printing, faxing or transmitting. And, of course, the Q710 will connect to Quinton SynergyTM,
our new cardiology information system, for even more efficient management and storage of
all your test data.
Holter Monitoring
Through a special agreement with Zymed Corporation,
Quinton now offers a Holter system for whatever your application, whatever your budget.
Each system features the acclaimed Zymed algorithm, a proven choice used in over 1,200
cardiology practices, hospitals, education facilities, and research institutions. The
advanced performance capabilities of these systems are helping physicians, clinical
managers, and technicians to work faster and smarter today: a definite advantage in
today,s cost-conscious environment.
HolterWorks PlusTM Scanner
HolterWorks Plus is designed to meet the needs of small-and medium-sized hospitals,
clinics, and physicians' offices. This easy-to-use system is moderately-priced and has
many advanced features previously available only on high-end systems. Its software is
designed around the Zymed algorithm. The system combines the advantages of
super-imposition, prospective and retrospective scanning, resulting in more complete and
accurate data. Ten complete studies can be stored on the Holter Works Plus hard drive.
Flash RAM and tape cassette drives are standard on the system; derived 12-lead and fax
capabilities are optional.
HolterWorksTM Scanner
This scanner has many of the advanced features of our HolterWorks Plus scanner, but is
designed for those facilities not requiring as many high-end features. HolterWorks runs on
a Pentium computer and, like its big brother, is extremely easy to operate. Up to five
complete studies can be stored on the system's hard drive. HolterWorks comes standard with
a tape cassette drive a flash RAM drive is optional. Unlike the HolterWorks Plus, this
system does not offer super-imposition scanning with autostops, fax capabilities, or the
derived 12-lead option.
2010 Holter
Designed for the needs of facilities that scan a large number of studies each month,
the 2010 incorporates the proven Zymed algorithm. It also features an upgradeable PC
platform. Multiple scanning modes let you quickly and accurately scan even the most
difficult recordings. A choice of twelve configuration files make scanning easy, with
minimal interaction and editing. The system lets you transmit high-resolution patient
records by fax via the optional fax board. Its open architecture design allows a variety
of network options for sharing data and for the transfer of studies from remote sites.
Flash RAM and tape cassette drives, as well as derived 12-lead, are standard on this
system.
20/20DTM Holter Recorder
"Flash RAM" technology is an improved way to acquire, transport and analyze
Holter data and the Quinton 20/20D Recorder has it. Instead of recording the patient's
ECGs on a cassette tape, the ECGs are stored on a digital flash card that is about the
size of a credit card. The 20/20D records three channels of ECGs for up to 24 hours. Flash
cards can be reused up to 100,000 times, reducing costly supplies inventory. The recorder
has a channel dedicated to recording pacemaker activity, and a built-in event button and
digital clock.
These recorders have no moving parts, reducing recorder size and increasing
reliability. The 20/20D weighs only 8 ounces, including flash card and batteries.
20/20® HolterRecorder
This powerful 3-channel, 36-hour Holter recorder is light and comfortable. The 20/20D
weighs only 13 ounces, including battery and tape cassette. This recorder gives you the
option of 3-lead or Pacer configurations. For patients with pacemakers, it records two
channels of ECG and dedicates its third channel to recording pacemaker activity. A
quartz-controlled timing track ensures accurate tape speed and ECG reproduction. The
recorder's event button and digital clock make patient cooperation easy, facilitating the
reporting of significant episodes and their correlation with ECG changes.
Stress Testing
Quinton stress test systems feature our
internationally-acclaimed algorithm that is used by thousands worldwide. This algorithm
has a proven record for reliability and accuracy in demanding clinical situations; and
it's just one of several reasons why Quinton is a recognized market leader in the stress
testing equipment business.
Q4500 Stress Test System
Not everyone performs stress tests in the same way. If they did we would have designed
a system that allows little room for change. Instead we built the Q4500, a system that's
flexible enough to work the way you want it to work. With it you'll get comprehensive
in-test and final report capabilities, with the freedom to customize these reports in ways
seldom seen in stress systems at any price. You'll also find many other innovative
features such as custom screen capabilities, a tilt-and-swivel monitor, data storage on
diskette, two revolutionary ways to help filter signal artifact, report editing during
patient recovery to reduce the total test time, and more. And, of course, the Q4500 will
connect to Quinton SynergyTM,our cardiology information system, so that you can
efficiently manage and store test data.
Q710 Stress Test ECG System
Now the power of a Quinton stress test system is combined with a hard-working resting
ECG system. This makes our Q710 one of the most versatile and cost-efficient systems for
hospitals and physicians' offices.
For stress testing, the Q710 lets you choose from 18 different protocols for treadmill,
ergometer, or pharmacological testing. The system incorporates two patented filters that
reduce baseline wander and artifact noise without corrupting the ECG signal's diagnostic
quality. A large, cart-mounted monitor is ergonomically positioned for viewing comfort.
Q710 lets you manually or automatically store both resting ECG and stress test final
reports. In addition, you can store up to 10 in-test 12-lead ECGs per stress test. The
Q710 will connect to Quinton SynergyTM, our new cardiology information system,
for even more efficient management and storage of all your test data.
Rehabilitation Telemetry
Quinton's telemetry systems were designed
specifically for use in cardiac rehabilitation facilities. They help you efficiently
monitor and manage ECG data while enabling you to spend more time at the patient's side.
Q-Tel® 5.0 Telemetry System
You can choose a system with four or eight channels of real-time ECG on an easy-to-use
PC platform. You can also choose a basic or enhanced system. The basic system provides
clear signals from tunable, digital transmitters which let you control selected system
functions directly from the patient's side. Picture icons make system operation simple,
and arrhythmia detection is standard- not a cost-added upgrade. In addition, the advanced
system gives you cardiac rehabilitation reports that make it easy to track progress and
document outcomes, full disclosure that lets you track every heartbeat for up to two
hours, and advanced arrhythmia detection and storage for up to 12 different ventricular
events.
Quinton OutcomesTM Software
Quinton Outcomes is a Windows-based program that enables clinicians to quickly and
efficiently track clinical outcomes for their cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation
patients. You can track ten different categories of outcomes for individual patients and
patient groups. These categories are: cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose, body
mass index, functional capacity, smoking, exercise habits, mortality, morbidity, and
financial. You can define and store twenty outcomes and you can refine them at any time.
These reports can help you identify successful interventions and enable you to prove
the medical effectiveness and financial soundness of cardiac rehabilitation programs.
Additionally, rehabilitation data can be merged automatically into Microsoft Word
documents to create fully-customizable cardiac rehabilitation reports.
Medical Treadmills
Quinton has the #1 selling medical treadmill line in
the world. Their legendary durability is a prime reason. Another is the patented
Hyperdrive TM System. All our MedTrack treadmills features this digitally-controlled AC
drive system that is whisper quiet, starting the belt gently to assure safety. It delivers
an exceptionally smoother walking/running experience with no annoying "lag" when
your foot strikes the belt.
MedTrack® ST55 and ST65 Treadmills
Designed to operate specificaly with Quinton stress test monitors, these treadmills are
identical except for the length of the walking surface: the ST55 has a 55-inch long
surface and the ST65 a 65-inch length. This system also delivers consistently high torque
over the entire treadmill speed and patient weight range to deliver the speed accuracy
required for stress testing. The speed range is 0.8 to 9.6 mph, the weight maximum is 400
lbs and the grade is adjustable from 0 to 25%. In addition, the quiet operation makes
these treadmills ideal for hospital and office environments.
MedTrack® ST Controller
This manual controller enables your ST55 or ST65 Treadmills to operate independently of
your stress test system. When no stress tests are scheduled, you can use your treadmill
for standalone applications such as patient rehabilitation programs.
Quinton kept ease-of-use in mind when designing the MedTrack ST Controller. All
displays are easy-to-read and controls are simple to use. Speed and grade are
electronically controlled. Exercise time, distance, pace, calories, and METS readings
provide performance feedback. Maximum exercise time and speed can be pre-set proving
especially useful for rehabilitation facilities. Two large STOP BELT buttons provide an
extra measure of safety and the COOL DOWN button gradually reduces the treadmill speed and
runs the belt at a slow speed until the user is ready to stop.
MedTrack® ST Programmable
This controller has all the features of the MedTrack ST Controller plus several more.
The controller comes with five factory-programmed protocols including Bruce and Modified
Bruce. You can design and store up to 15 custom protocols for future use. An interactive
tri-color display keeps users motivated. A unique scaling feature helps them fine tune
their workout and a convenient pause feature lets users interrupt their workout for up to
five minutes without losing their place in the program.
MedTrack® CR60 & SR60 Treadmills
These standalone treadmills are designed specifically for rehabilitation and sports
training facilities. They feature our exclusive TripleFlex® shock-absorbing deck which
provides the ideal cushioning for walkers and runners of all weights. Both treadmills have
easy-to-use control panels that display all pertinent information including METS and
calorie counts. The speed range is 0.6 to 7.2 mph on the CR60 and 1 to 12 mph on the SR60.
Both treadmills are "soft starting" with a belt that starts gently and then
increases speed in smooth 0.1 increments for the comfort and safety of all your patients.
You can pre-set time limits and top speed on both treadmills.
Invasive Cardiology/Image Management
The 1986 introduction of Q-CathTM, the
first PC-based hemodynamic monitoring system, quickly gained Quinton the reputation as an
innovator in the cardiac catheterization laboratory hemodynamic monitoring business. Since
that time, ongoing system development and enhancements have helped us achieve a major
position in this market. In addition to hemodynamic monitoring, the invasive cardiology
product line now encompasses digital filmless angiography and image management, and
quantitative coronary analysis.
Value- it's one reason why so many hospitals choose the Quinton® Q-CathTM
Hemodynamic Monitoring System. It has evolved over the years to keep pace with changing
technology and customer needs; and we have a proven track record of providing upgrade
paths for older systems. In fact, our first Q-Cath production model, built in 1986, is
running all our latest hemodynamic, angiographic image analysis, and network software - on
the latest Pentium computer platform. Quinton's commitment to extending product life
cycles is also one of the reasons why Hewlett-Packard chose Quinton as their only
recommended supplier for cath lab monitoring equipment.
Q-CathTM Hemodynamic Monitoring System
This all-digital hemodynamic monitoring and analysis system is widely known for its
ease-of-use, accurate results, sophisticated networking and low operating costs. Its
Pentium PC-based operating system offers familiarity and reduced training time. Modular

- decreased costs
Q-CathTM Network
The Q-Cath Network simplifies patient file management and speeds reporting. Patient
data from multiple labs are compiled and stored in one central location. They can be
reviewed and analyzed in the privacy of an office on a network workstation, without tying
up the busy cath lab or slowing case throughput. The Q-Cath Network integrates fully with
our AngioCOMM® digital imaging systems and it is highly likely that it is
compatible with most networks in your facility.
Quantitative Coronary Analysis System
Available as a stand alone system or as an integrated component of the Q-CathTM
or AngioCOMM® systems, the QCA Image Analysis System offers the only
clinically-validated arteriography and ventriculography packages available today. QCA
provides on-line analysis of stenotic lesions including vessel diameter, percent stenosis,
as well as ventricular wall motion and ejection fraction. Data can easily be integrated
with Q-Cath hemodynamic data for comprehensive case and referral reports.
Filmless Angiography
Recent advances in digital and image management
technologies are now providing cath labs with cost savings that were unheard of just a few
years ago. Digital filmless angiography is one of these technologies. In addition to the
savings on cine film, significant time and cost savings arise from improvements in patient
data organization and lab efficiency.
AngioCOMM® Systems
The AngioCOMM family of imaging products is designed to replace cine film acquisition,
display and storage of angiographic image sequences in the cardiac catheterization
laboratory. AngioCOMM provides a sophisticated networked management system for digital
capture, review, analysis, transfer and archive of coronary angiography image sequences
and related hemodynamic data. Utilizing state-of-the-art, high speed imaging networks, the
full angiographic sequence of images is immediately made available, on-line, to clinicians
for review and analysis in the cath lab and to any other desired location within the
hospital. On-line, post-case review is also available outside the hospital via high-speed
telecommunication links.
The AngioCOMM product family utilizes open architecture and modular design to provide
you with operational and implementation flexibility. It also ensures the ability to easily
upgrade your system as new imaging communication standards, advanced hardware, and
software are introduced into the cath lab.
Cardiology Information Solution
Information management systems are increasingly
important in today's managed care environment where rapid access to critical information
can lead to more informed decision making, enhanced patient care and cost savings. Medical
facilities want an enterprise-wide solution, a system that allows large volumes of
clinical and administrative data to be quickly and easily exchanged. They are also looking
for a system that does not lock them into buying one manufacturer's proprietary hardware
or software, and can adapt to future changes in technology.
Quinton® SynergyTM, a revolutionary new cardiology information
system, fulfills these customer needs. It acquires, transmits, stores, and displays
electronic patient files, including waveforms, from a variety of cardiology equipment. It
is easy to use and delivers the information you want, in the format you need, to where it
can be used most efficiently. Plus, the system's standards-based, open-architecture design
ensures maximum connectivity with your existing and future equipment.
