Kit for Prostate Brachytherapy
Siemens Ultrasound provides a state-of-the-art
stepper, template and brachyboard stabilizer for its SONOLINE® Sienna,
SONOLINE Adara and SONOLINE Prima ultrasound platforms.
The stepper is a lightweight, precision
stepping device which moves the ultrasound probe in steady, discrete
5 mm increments. Its innovative design prevents stepping slippage.
Its ultrasound probe rotates a full 90 degrees in a clockwise or
counterclockwise position. The probe's solid-center detent allows you to reposition to the
neutral (0 degree) position quickly and easily.
Large, easy-to-read numerical markers (on both sides of the stepper body)
make it convenient to view the carriage location from either side of the exam room. The
stepper accommodates a 17G or 18G template that moves independently of the carriage.
The template accommodates a 17G or 18G needle and is made of lightweight anodized
aluminum.
The basic stabilizer is designed for use in combination with the stepper. This lightweight
and highly versatile stabilizer can be used in a number of anchoring positions, thanks to
its universal arm.
