TAGARNO Approach TAGARNO A/S of Denmark has long
been recognized as one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of high quality
and extremely reliable cardiac catheterization cine x-ray film projectors. TAGARNO's
reputation in this regard, stems from it's unique ability to integrate all of its
expertise in rotating prism projection technology with quality manufacturing techniques,
to produce a complete line of state-of-the-art cine film projectors.
All TAGARNO cine film projectors are engineered to provide many years of dependable
service with minimal life cycle maintenance costs. Also, in addition to the basic
projector models available, TAGARNO manufactures a full line of optional accessories to
enhance the versatility and performance of its products.
In support of the above, TAGARNO maintains an active research and development program
to improve its existing product line and to explore potential new product introductions.
TAGARNO A/S holds the Certificate of Approval awarded by BVQI Denmark. The quality
management system is in accordance with DS/EN ISO 9001 : 1994 and covers development,
manufacturing, and sales of TAGARNO products.
The TAGARNO System
Simply put, the TAGARNO approach to cine film projection basically entails
incorporation of all of the following concepts into every TAGARNO projector:
Rotating Prism Projection Method :
All TAGARNO cine film projectors utilize either a 16-faceted or 12-faceted rotating
prism to project cine film images onto either a front or rear projection screen. The
TAGARNO rotating prism system, together with the precision optics found in every TAGARNO
projector, ensures that film studies will be projected with superior diagnostic image
quality.
Furthermore, since rotating prism projection systems tend to be free of the mechanical
limitations associated with the intermittent film advance method of projection, TAGARNO
projectors give the physician a much greater degree of freedom in regulating the speed of
film transport. Also, an important distinguishing feature of all TAGARNO projectors is
their unique quiet operation, providing for ease of discussion or dictation while
analyzing case film.
Projection Lamp Source :
All TAGARNO cine film projectors use either a 150 watt or 250 watt halogen lamp or a
300 watt xenon short arc lamp to project cine film images. TAGARNO projectors, therefore,
enjoy wide application from the relatively low priced 150 watt projectors found in budget
conscious physician offices, small and mobile cath labs, to major hospital cath labs
requiring more sophisticated 250 watt or arc lamp systems for routine and specialized
viewing situations.
Film Transport System :
All TAGARNO cine film projectors provide for easy film loading. When loading film, no
film loops have to be made and no film gates have to be passed. The TAGARNO style of easy
loading of film onto an extremely reliable film transport system means no loss of valuable
time. The film transport system ensures a constant tension on the supply and take-up
plates and prevents the film from unwinding when the projector is switched off. Film
studies can be transported with a continuously variable speed from 1 and up to 100 frames
per second, forward or reverse, or frame by frame by the single frame pushbuttons.
Switching directions and stopping is near instantaneous on all models.
Ergonomic Controls and Operation :
All TAGARNO cine film projectors feature ergonomic functional designs with conveniently
placed control panels for easy operation. Likewise, the simplistic yet highly functional
design of all TAGARNO projectors allow physicians to concentrate on their clinical
diagnoses, with only minimal effort devoted to actual projector operation. In short, all
TAGARNO projectors are very user friendly. |
